I have had the great pleasure of having been brought up bilingual as a child. After living in different European countries, becoming a linguist and working as a trilingual interpreter, I founded Accent, a language training agency in 1995. I have enjoyed the opportunity of working with a wide variety of different learners in banks, nurseries, law firms, museums and schools.
I love sharing my passion for languages and I am fascinated by cross-cultural differences. Mother of three, I am now bringing up my own children bilingually within the local community. As a member of the former Society for Effective and Affective Learning I am using in my teaching innovative brain-friendly methods and ICT. I love running projects in schools to introduce children to French by helping them to put a musical show together and getting the children to sing and perform on stage in French within a short time frame.
I am a Cilt regional trainer and highly committed to the implementation of Foreign Languages in primary schools. I run fun, motivating and supportive staff training sessions and Inset days.
